Support Services
At Standapart we recognise that there is a process to specifying and installing effective acoustic treatments and solutions.
This starts with proper assessment of the acoustic issues being experienced, (or in the case of new build & refurbishment projects, calculating the extent of possible issues that may occur), then specifying the appropriate type and quantity of acoustic treatment required to balance the acoustic environment.
There then follow the issues regarding how the proposed acoustic treatments and solutions will impact the environment, within which they are to be installed, from both a practical and design aesthetic prospective and we have resources to support our clients with this part of the process.
Finally, there are project management & logistic issues relating to how, where and when products need to be installed which we can also accommodate, including out of hours and overseas installs.
Below are details of support services and resources we can offer to our clients in order to help them find and implement the right solutions for their needs:
*some services may be incur charges, depending on size, nature and location of project
Standapart Limited are able conduct onite acoustic surveys. Equipped with NTi Audio XL2 sound analysers, a typical survey would include the following:
- RT60 reverberation tests to measure the current levels of reverberation, across the frequency spectrum from 125Hz to 4000Hz, (this covers the full range of frequencies at which human voice is spoken)
- Background noise level measurements to see if they are having an adverse effect on the overall acoustic ambience of a room or space.
- We also carry out a general survey to assess the construction and architectural characteristics of a room, office or space, to determine how the construction materials applied may be influencing the room acoustics.
- Full assessment of the nature and probable causes of the sound behaviour being experienced within a given room or space.
- A survey report will be produced to outline results of tests and measurements taken along with a summary of our assessments and findings during the site survey.
- Details of recommended products to apply in order to meet and comply with set target parameters will be set out in a proposal.
- Fully costed quote to supply and deliver products will be created.
- Costs for optional product features, for example different Group category fabrics and finish options will be included in the quote.
- If required and requested, costs to perform onsite installation and configuration of products will also be provided in quote.
- Standapart Limited hold a wide range of products which are available for demonstration purposes.
- We can assist with providing products for mock ups in response to specific projects requirements.
- We can also set up “proof of concept” demonstration to show just how effective the products are at absorption sound and how in turn this effect can enhance user experience and improve speech intelligibility, especially in meeting rooms where audio & video conferencing systems are to be used.
- Our graphics team have the ability to create 3D rendered images to help demonstrate what your room/space will look like when the acoustic products are applied.
- This can be an extremely powerful tool when it comes to seeking sign off from relevant stakeholders within a business, including those that are responsible for managing compliance with corporate branding.
- We can assist project managers and end client alike with choosing the most suitable and appropriate fabric finishes for the acoustic products specified.
- Standapart can provide fabric samples and swatch cards
- If we do not have samples of your preferred fabric choice available, we can arrange to have them posted to you directly from the fabric manufacturers themselves upon request.
- Standapart understand the importance of getting things right first time.
- This means not only specifying the right products to start with but also making sure the whole supply and installation process runs smoothly.
- This is where good project management plays its part to ensure the following:
- Site surveys are conducted where and when necessary to ensure all products specified will fit, without risk of covering or obstructing other building services i.e smoke alarms, light sensors, audio speakers, wall mounted switches and thermostats etc.
- Double checking correct specifications are applied to production works orders to avoid any upsets or mistakes.
- Lead times & delivery dates are communicated clearly, so as people receiving products at the end destination are given clear notification as to when they will arrive.
We offer a full delivery & onsite installation services to our clients. This would include the following:
- Site survey to assess building access
- Full Risk Assessment and Method statements to be submitted
- Coordinate access and timing of arrival with building security and site managers
- Compliance with onsite Health & Safety regulations
- Disposal and recycling, (where possible), of all product packaging
- Option to perform site installation “out of hours” during evenings or weekends
- Ability to perform installation overseas
NOTE: All our installation technicians are highly trained and experienced and all carry up to date ECS/CSCS card.
Where appropriate we can perform post-installation acoustic measurement tests in order that we can then present back “before & after” acoustic treatment results.
This can often provide necessary validation that the acoustic treatment has proven to be effective, if/when further roll outs of treatment are being considered for other company sites or meeting rooms.
